About EACAA Soroti

The East African Civil Aviation Academy (EACAA) in Soroti, Uganda is the region's premier aviation training institution. Established in 1971, we have trained thousands of aviation professionals who now serve across Africa and worldwide.

Our campus at Soroti Airport features state-of-the-art training facilities, experienced instructors, and a fleet of modern training aircraft.

Training Programs

We offer comprehensive aviation training programs designed to meet international standards.

Private Pilot License (PPL)
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Minimum 45 flight hours
  • Theory and practical training
Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
  • Duration: 12-18 months
  • Minimum 200 flight hours
  • Includes night rating
Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
  • Duration: 24 months
  • 1500 total flight hours
  • Advanced theory modules
